MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Senior Thomas Incoom was a beast on the defensive line this season in the Mid-American Conference and now his hard work has given him an All-American Award. He has been named a Phil Steele Magazine All-American on the honorable mention team as a defensive lineman. Earlier this month, he was selected to the All-MAC first team gaining his first award at CMU. The Stone Mountain, Ga., native transferred to CMU after the 2019 season from NCAA Division II Valdosta State. He was also on the watch list for the Ted Hendricks Award for the nation’s top defensive end.
He finished the year ranked fourth in the nation in sacks (11.5) and second in the MAC and was seventh for tackles for loss (19) while being 22nd from fumble recoveries. He was fourth on the team in tackles with 57, recovered two fumbles, forced a fumble, and had four quarterback hurries. In two years at CMU, he posted 84 tackles, 27 tackles for loss, and 15.5 sacks.

CMU finished the year at 4-8 winning two of their last four games.
