ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The time has come for “The Game” and the Michigan Wolverines are cool and calm and ready to go. After winning last year’s game in Ann Arbor, the players know the feeling of defeating the Buckeyes and going onto the Big Ten Championship game. They know what is on the line on Saturday in the Horseshoe and are ready for the task.
Earlier this week, Jim Harbaugh said that his team was made of “the right stuff” and would be ready for Saturday. Below are comments on what the players said about going into “The Game.”

“Just be us. We feel very confident in every single guy on offense side and we are going to continue to do us and do what got us here.”
Olusegun Oluwatimi
“First of all we have to be locked into the cadence and locked in. No penalties. Going on the road you can’t get penalties or turnovers. You need to be efficient. You have to help the defense out by running the ball and moving the ball and controlling the clock. We just have to keep our identity. We have been trying to control the line of scrimmage in games and we are going to have to get that done.”
Ryan Hayes
“We are going to have to throw when we need to. I think we can do that and obviously we can do that as we have a great quarterback and receivers and I don’t think anything changes in this game.”

“As important as it is to get to the passer and get a push, we have to do that this week. First we have to knock off the run. Then we can do that. Start having fun. I believe we have guys that can do that and be all over the place.”
Mike Sainristil
“We need to eliminate explosive plays as I think that is the most important thing. Be physical in the run game. Force them to be in situations you don’t want them to be in.”
Kris Jenkins
“There is going to be another level for us. Coaches always say there is some untapped potential that we haven’t reached yet and we have been trying to continue to get to that point so when that moment comes and the moment is here we can tap into that and fly across to the ball and not hold ourselves back.”
