GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Blue Bridge in Grand Rapids has been lit with purple lights for Epilepsy Awareness Month.

The lights were added on Saturday. The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan says one in 26 people will develop epilepsy in their lifetime, and one in ten will have a seizure.

More than 13,000 children in Michigan have epilepsy.
