LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – It’s Election Day, and Michigan voters will head to the polls to cast their ballots for numerous races up and down the ballot. In addition, Michigan voters will weigh in on three statewide proposals and decide on local municipal issues.

Here are some reminders:
- Polls are open across the state until 8 p.m. Voters must be standing in line by 8 p.m. in order to vote.
- Absentee ballots must be turned into your clerk’s office or a drop box by 8 p.m.
- Residents can register to vote at a local clerk’s office.
