LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Historians confirm a ship from the early 1900s has been found at the bottom of Lake Superior.
Researchers with the Great Lakes Shipwreck Historical Society found the near 300-foot long vessel 35 miles off the coast and confirmed it to be Barge 129.

The boat was one of only 44 ever made. The ship reportedly sank after it encountered a strong storm in 1902.
