ATHENS, Greece (Michigan News Source) – Playing two of their three games on their European Tour in the past four days, Michigan went 1-1 against Europe Professional Teams. Michigan played their first game on Friday with their second competitor on Monday.

Friday brought the first of three exhibition games on the tour against Fos Provence Basket, a team that plays in the first tier (Pro A) league of the Ligue Nationale de Basket. It was a hard battle for Michigan as they fell, 86-68. Hunter Dickinson led the Wolverines with 15 points and 10 rebounds as Jaelin Llewellyn had 15 points and seven assists. Jett Howard added 11 points, too. After the game, the team had a chance to enjoy Paris with a rooftop dinner at George’s where they could see the nighttime skyline of the Eiffel Tower, the Roue de Paris, Notre Dame and other great treasures of Paris.

It was a different story on Monday as Michigan took a 30+ victor over the Olympiacos’ U22 team, 95-62, in Athens, Greece. Playing at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, Michigan jumped out to a 31-18 lead in the first quarter and then went up 78-49 after three periods according to UMhoops.com. In the end, four players scored in double figures in Llewellyn (18 points), Howard (16 points), Isaiah Barnes (10 points), and Dug McDaniel (10 points).

Michigan has one more game in Europe as they head to Mykonos.
