DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Jules Bernard led the Pistons to a 102-86 win over the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League. Bernard posted 22 points and nine rebounds while Charlie Moore had 21 points and eight assists and Braxton Key with 15 points.
Detroit shot 53.7% from the field and 46.7% from the arc and out rebounded Orlando, 37-31.

Orlando had as large as a 10 point lead in the second quarter and lead at the half, 41-40. Detroit came back to tie the game at 46 with 5:53 left in the third quarter moving it to a six-point lead, 65-59, with 1:58 to go. Detroit held onto a four-point lead, 68-64, at the end of the third quarter.
A 9-2 run to begin the fourth quarter put Detroit up by 11, 77-66, moving their lead to 14 by the 4:30 mark, 88-74. With 1:18 left in the game, Bernard hit both of his free throws for a 21-point lead, 99-78. Detroit went on to take the game by 16 points, 102-86, for their third win this summer.
