DETROIT (Great Lakes News) – Twitter erupted with mixed reactions over the weekend and on Monday after Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel tweeted about taking a shot of whiskey with strangers at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Detroit over the weekend.

Early on Monday, Nessel retweeted a response to the original post, and this is what the Twitterverse had to say:

That comment refers to a posting after the October 30, 2021 football game between Michigan State University and the University of Michigan.

Nessel responded to what she referred to as “Tail-gate Gate” where she admits to having one too many Bloody Marys on an empty stomach. She wrote, “I had a few folks help me up the stairs and someone grabbed a wheelchair so as to prevent me from stumbling in the parking lot.”

However, Nessel has her supporters who see the state’s top law enforcement official as “human” and someone they’d like to party with as well.
