The well-maintained pathways are a favorite destination for cross country skiers, but hiking and snowshoeing are allowed as well. There are several loops of varying distances and different levels of difficulty. You can choose from a short run of under a mile on fairly flat terrain or take on several miles of hilly country that will test your fitness.
The Ogemaw Hills Pathways are located north of Rose City, Michigan at the corner of Fairview and Cedar Lake Roads. This is well outside of town so there are no facilities. The loops are well marked and there is ample parking.
