WASHINGTON (Great Lakes News) – President Joe Biden will be coming to Detroit on Wednesday, Nov. 17.

The White House says Biden will visit the General Motors Factory ZERO electric vehicle assembly plant where he’ll discuss his infrastructure deal.

Biden’s visit comes after Michigan spent a week in the headlines. Former Michigan governor and current energy secretary Jennifer Granholm laughed when asked about a solution regarding the high price of gas in the U.S.
In addition, the Biden administration renewed Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s call to shut down Enbridge Energy’s Line 5 in the Straits of Mackinac earlier this week but flip-flopped later on.
Line 5 is a major energy source for much of Michigan, particularly the U.P., and parts of Canada.
