LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Trump administration is revoking more student visas at Michigan universities.

Michigan State University, Wayne State University, and Grand Valley State University have joined the list of schools facing student visa revocations by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Michigan News Source previously reported similar moves for international students at Central Michigan University and the University of Michigan.

The Trump administration, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, have repeatedly said that being in the U.S. as a guest is a privilege, not a right. The student visa news at those Michigan high education institutions comes as the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a president has the right to secure the country’s borders.

It appears the schools learned about the student visa revocations during a records review.
