DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Michigan Representative Rashida Tlaib (D), the only Palestinian member of Congress and an outspoken antisemite, wished her Jewish constituents a “Happy Passover” over the weekend.

Passover celebrates the Jewish people’s deliverance from slavery in Egypt, as depicted in the book of Exodus. Just one day prior to the Passover post, Rep. Tlaib posted on X about free speech that she said “includes the right to protest the Israeli government’s genocide of Palestinians.” Her clap-back was directed at the Trump administration’s deportation of pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil.

In addition, Tlaib has repeatedly uttered the phrase “from the river to the sea.” It’s a jihadist battle cry that advocates wiping out the Jewish people in Israel.

Tlaib has yet to denounce the killing of Israeli children at the hands of Hamas on Oct. 7, and continues to participate in pro-Palestinian demonstrations. In 2024, Tlaib won “Antisemite of the Year” from a watchdog group that tracks hatred of the Jewish people in social media posts.
