CADILLAC, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Wexford County is still recovering from a major cyberattack that hit its systems in November.

The county has made progress on restoring its Register of Deeds online system. So far, IT companies have restored data online from physical files from 1986 up to a portion of 2016. County officials are continuing to work on recovering and restoring its database.

The register of deeds office is still open. Wexford County officials said they hope to have the index system back and
fully restored by April.
