LUDINGTON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A west Michigan beach community is looking to rack up another win as the “Best Historic Small Town.”

Ludington is looking to defend its title in the competition sponsored by USA Today’s Ten-Best Readers’ Choice Awards.

Last year, the Mason County city won the award and is one of twenty U.S. cities nominated for the 2025 title. Mackinac Island is the only other town in Michigan in the running.

Voting runs until March 31. The winner will be announced on April 9.
