SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 31-point performance by Lake Superior State University’s (LSSU) Adam Harakow gave the Lakers an 83-73 win in the second round of the NCAA Division II men’s basketball tournament over GLIAC rival Michigan Tech. LSSU heads to the Regional Final on Tuesday in Springfield, Ill., against Missouri-St. Louis at 8:00 p.m.

“Harakow was a one-man wrecking crew for a while as they had a tough time matching up with him as he is so diverse – he can shoot, drive, and he is strong as all get out. He helped us to get the big lead at the half,” said head coach Steve Hettinga.
