A weekend ice storm has left parts of Northern Lower Michigan crippled with limbs, trees, power lines and poles down. Some areas saw over an inch of ice on surfaces. The hardest hit region Saturday was around the M-32 corridor from Gaylord to Alpena with thousands without power. The Straits area and the Upper Peninsula also saw significant sleet and ice accumulations.
