WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – The White House said Flint filmmaker Michael Moore was in the running for “dumbest statement of the year” when he said that some of the illegal immigrants being deported “could have discovered the cure for cancer in 2046” or “stopped that Astroid [sic] that’s gonna hit us in 2032 …”

Moore made his statement in a Feb. 25 post on his social media site.

The White House responded with a post titled: Illegal Immigrant Killers, Rapists Aren’t Scholars — They’re Criminals

“In a strong contender for dumbest statement of the year, disgraced ‘filmmaker’ Michael Moore lamented illegal immigrant criminals being apprehended because they might’ve ‘discovered the cure for cancer’ or ‘stopped that asteroid.’ The only thing more foolish than that statement are the politicians who oppose the deportations,” the White House said in a statement.

Then the White House listed 14 examples of “cold-blooded criminals he’s talking about:”

The list included illegal immigrants who had been charged with child rape, child pornography, armed home invasion, kidnapping, murder, drug trafficking, terrorism as well a members of the notorious MS-13 gang.
