Earlier this month, border patrol agents in the Soo and Detroit arrested members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, a “special interest alien” from Uzbekistan, and a Mexican national trying to enter the U.S. illegally for a second time.
Meanwhile, four Michigan Democrats in Congress refuse to read the room. Representatives Debbie Dingell, Haley Stevens, Shri Thanedar, and Rashida Tlaib recently voted against a bill that would add penalties on illegal aliens who flee from border patrol agents.
