FLINT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A former movie theater in Flint is being demolished after years of sitting empty.
The 34,000 square-foot Cinema 10 officially closed in 2007. It sat empty for years. Then, a massive fire swept through the building in 2023.

Flint Township’s code enforcement staff inspected the building earlier this year and recommended the demolition. Township officials earmarked $200,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds along with general fund money for the demolition.
After the demolition is complete, the site will be covered with dirt, grass seed and straw.
