LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Saving tips for service workers in Michigan is on the agenda again in the state House.
On Thursday, the House Select Committee on Protecting Michigan Employees and Small Businesses will hold its second hearing to consider House Bills 4001 and 4002. If passed, those bills would restore the tipped wage option and fix earned sick time rules for workers and small businesses.

Michigan’s legislature must act and intervene in order to stop the changes to tipped wages and sick time rules from going into effect on Feb. 21.
The hearing starts at 9:00 a.m. in Room 519 in the Anderson House Office Building in Lansing. A live stream of the hearing can be found here.
