DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Jimmy Butler is unhappy in Miami and will most likely receive another team suspension. With him wanting to leave South Florida, Detroit may have a hand in the deal that lands Butler at another NBA team.
SB Nation Detroit Bad Boys is speculating that the Pistons may be willing to work with the Phoenix Suns and Miami in a Butler trade. Detroit would be looking for lesser picks and a smaller role player to help the team. Detroit does have an open roster spot and $14 million in cap space to use. The Pistons may be looking for a Tim Hardaway-type point guard or forward.
