PONTIAC, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – If you’re driving through Oakland County and see a sheriff’s deputy that looks like Jared Goff or Aidan Hutchinson, you may want to take another look.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office will allow deputies to wear Honolulu Blue and Silver throughout the Detroit Lions playoff run.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard said deputies can wear licensed Detroit Lions caps or beanies as part of their official uniforms, “to promote camaraderie and community spirit.”

The Lions clinched their second-straight NFC North division title following Sunday night’s 31-9 victory over the Minnesota Vikings. In addition, Detroit set a franchise-record 15 wins. The Lions also secured their first No. 1 seed and earned a bye during the first week of the playoffs.
