DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Increased toll rates will arrive at the Detroit Windsor Tunnel on Monday, Jan. 6.
A $0.75 increase will be applied to credit and debit card users. That increase raises the total to $8.25. The cost of Nexpress users will move from $5.50 to $6.00.

Tolls already increased on the Canadian side at the start of 2025. Card users will pay $7.25 and Nexpress users will shell out $5.90. Regine Beauboeuf, CEO of American Roads which runs the U.S. side of the tunnel said, “The increase is necessary to allow us to plan for our future capital projects and maintain safe and efficient movement of people between the two countries.”
