GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A Kent County car dealership heist turned into a car chase with police that spanned multiple counties.

On Monday morning around 2:00, Kent County deputies responded to a break-in call at Comodo Motors in Caledonia. The owner reported seeing several people stealing vehicles through a surveillance camera. When deputies arrived, they saw five vehicles leaving the dealership.

Police followed the vehicles and deployed stop sticks, partially disabling one vehicle. The suspect ran from that vehicle and hopped in another one. Officials said the suspects sped away going more than 100 miles-per-hour. The chase continued into Ionia County.

Eventually, police recovered the vehicles and arrested a 19-year-old Detroit woman. No one was hurt and the case remains under investigation.
