The Lions’ season-opening 26-20 victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sept. 8 drew 22.7 million viewers on Sunday Night Football on NBC.
When the Lions beat the Houston Texans 26-23 on NBC’s Sunday Night Football, the Nov. 10 game drew an average of 19.3 million viewers across NBC, Peacock and digital platforms, according to Barrett Media. That was the most-watched Week 10 Sunday Night Football game in five years.
The Thanksgiving Day game between the Lions and the Chicago Bears drew 37.4 million viewers, which set a record for the most-watched early Turkey Day game. Detroit won 23-20.
The Lions Dec. 5 game vs. the Packers on Amazon’s Thursday Night Football drew 17.29 million viewers, which was the largest NFL audience ever on Amazon in the three years it has been broadcasting NFL games. The Lions won 34-31.
