JACKSON, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – It’s a Thanksgiving tradition! Michigan State Police troopers are partnering again with Kroger to deliver 200 Thanksgiving dinners to low-income families throughout Michigan this week.
MSP chose the families after collaborating with schools and community service organizations. Each meal kit, which feeds 4-6 people, contains a turkey and traditional holiday side dishes.

Participating MSP posts include Lansing, Jackson, Monroe, Brighton, Metro North, Metro South, Flint, Lapeer, and Tri-City.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer remarked that this 9-year-long collaboration has led to the delivery of more than 1,800 meals to struggling families statewide.
