NORWAY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A 23-year-old Dickinson County man, who most recently resided in California, will stand trial on seven felonies for allegedly sexually assaulting two minors.
According to Attorney General Dana Nessel, officials extradited Trentin McWilliams of Norway in September to face these charges as part of Operation Survivor Justice. Nessel’s office described Operation Survivor Justice as a “partnership between the Michigan Department of Attorney General, local County Prosecutors, and the U.S. Marshals Service to locate, apprehend, and return to Michigan fugitive offenders with outstanding sexual assault warrants.”

McWilliams is accused of sexually assaulting a child at a relative’s residence in 2018. He and faces charges of Second-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct along with Accosting a Child for Immoral Purposes in July 2024.
In addition, the Dickinson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged McWilliams with three counts of Third-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and two counts of Fourth-Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct in February 2024 for allegedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in a vehicle in October 2022.
A pretrial date has not yet been set.
