WASHINGTON (Michigan News Source) – President Joe Biden’s foreign policy has taken yet another sharp turn toward the apocalyptic, with critics warning that the administration’s latest moves are inching the world closer to a global conflict.
In what can only be described as a geopolitical gamble with possible nuclear stakes, Biden is facing accusations by liberal filmmaker Michael Moore of trying to “go out in a blaze of horror.”

Moore’s concerns center around many fronts including Ukraine, Israel, and Gaza. Instead of helping Americans, Moore is accusing Biden of dragging the country into foreign conflicts. Regarding Ukraine, Moore cites Biden fast-tracking another $6 billion in weapons for them and also calling up President Zelensky and giving him the green-light to start firing long range ballistic missiles. In addition to that, it’s recently been reported by New York Times that Biden is thinking about handing over nuclear weapons to Ukraine, something that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov calls “irresponsible.”
Liberal Michael Moore and Amnesty International blast Biden.
Moore published a letter to Biden on Substack on November 23rd titled “Going Out With a Bang.” He criticizes Biden for not taking his previous advice on how to cement his status as a “great” president.
Moore states his unhappiness about the U.S. voting against the Gaza ceasefire resolution at the United Nations and tells Biden that he seems to be “trying to cement your legacy as a war monger – doubling down on some of your worst mistakes and worst impulses.”
Moore is also not happy at all with Biden’s changing position on the use of landmines, saying, “LAND MINES, Joe? Seriously? THIS is your legacy? This is how you want to go out? In a blaze of horror?” He’s referring to the administrations green lighting of the shipment of antipersonnel land mines to Kyiv – a weaponry choice Biden previously labeled as “reckless.”
Amnesty International is not happy about this new development either saying, “This is a reckless decision and a deeply disappointing setback for a President who once agreed that landmines put more civilians at increased risk of harm. It is devastating, and frankly shocking, that President Biden made such a consequential and dangerous decision just before his public service legacy is sealed for the history books.”
In Moore’s letter to the president, he also takes issue with the Biden White House lobbying against the Democratic Senators who voted in favor of halting a shipment of weapons to Israel and continuing to arm the “slaughter” in Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon.
Moore asks Joe, “What about America? You have two months left in office. What are you going to do with this time? Maybe you should stop arming foreign wars and leave that for the next guy. Maybe instead, you should focus on things that matter to Americans.”

And all this escalation by Biden is unfolding quickly – even before the dust from the 2024 election settles and Donald J. Trump reclaims the Oval Office, which is leading some to speculate that it’s being done on purpose to “sabotage” Trump’s presidency.
NATO on alert.
As the Ukraine-Russia conflict escalates, NATO officials are whispering about “wartime scenarios,” with some advising member nations to prepare for a full-scale conflict. These aren’t the kind of bedtime stories anyone wants to hear from the world’s most powerful military alliance.
Lindsey Graham’s slip of the tongue.
Meanwhile, while Biden racks up criticism for his aggressive foreign policy, Senator Lindsey Graham has added fuel to the fire by hinting at the “real reason” behind U.S. involvement in Ukraine – which many have wondered about since the conflict began.
In comments to Fox News recently, Senator Lindsey Graham highlighted Ukraine’s critical role in the global geopolitical landscape, emphasizing its immense reserves of rare earth minerals, estimated to be worth $2 to $7 trillion – minerals that are called “essential” for advancing 21st-century technologies.
Graham said on Fox News, “Ukraine is still standing. This war is about money. People don’t talk much about it. But you know, the richest country in all of Europe for rare earth minerals is Ukraine. Two to $7 trillion worth of minerals that are rare earth minerals, very relevant to the 21st century. Ukraine is ready to do a deal with us, not the Russians.”
A legacy written in fallout?
For Biden, his high-stakes game of what looks like brinkmanship in the Ukraine-Russia conflict carries enormous risks. Nuclear proliferation isn’t a switch you can flip back off, and arming a volatile conflict zone with weapons of mass destruction could backfire catastrophically.
Critics argue that the administration is prioritizing short-term geopolitical goals over long-term global stability. Others think that Biden wants to hand Trump a foreign policy mess when he steps into the Oval Office.
Biden’s final stand?
With Moscow warning that Western intervention is crossing red lines, critics of the Biden Administration argue that these actions are less about supporting Ukraine and more about undermining President-elect Donald Trump’s plans to negotiate a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
As noted by The Federalist, “These leftist kooks are ratcheting up the war on their way out the White House door, defying the will of the American people and sabotaging Trump’s efforts to secure a peace agreement in the process.”
This perspective is echoed by The Washington Times, which questions whether the administration is stoking war with Russia as a part of a political strategy to sabotage President-elect Donald Trump’s plan to end the violence in Ukraine.
Even podcaster Joe Rogan is accusing Biden and Zelsnsky of trying to start World War III as Biden exits the White House. According to the New York Post, Zelensky’s use of long range U.S.-made missiles to attack deep inside Russia, has led Rogan to ask, “How are you (Biden) allowed to do that when you’re on your way out? There should be some sort of pause for significant actions that could potentially start World War III.”
In the waning days of his presidency, Biden’s sudden aggressive maneuvers in Eastern Europe seem less about strategic necessity to many and more about setting diplomatic traps for his successor. By escalating military support and authorizing provocative actions, the outgoing administration appears intent on leaving a legacy of conflict rather than paving the way for peace.
