LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Michigan Princess entertainment ship will be closed for the remainder of 2024.
The company gave the update on Facebook. “Our team is working diligently and we hope to reopen in spring 2025,” it said.

In August, the company said an unexpected equipment malfunction occurred while returning the vessel to the water. It caused damage to the boat and, at the time, officials expected the repairs to take at least one month to repair.
The Michigan Princess, which has sailed up and down the Grand River for 30 years, describes itself as “a captivating blend of 19th-century charm and modern entertainment.”
