TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Great Lakes Maritime Academy (GLMA) in Traverse City will soon add a new vessel to its fleet.

The Academy will purchase the 66-year-old Tug, Robinson Bay, from the U.S. Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation.

The Robinson Bay will allow GLMA to replace a leased tugboat that costs the college $38,000 per year.
