TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Former President Donald Trump hosted a rally in Traverse City on Friday, October 25th, drawing a crowd of dedicated northern lower Michigan fans – some waiting for over 10 hours to see their hero. Initially slated for a 7:30 p.m. EST appearance, Trump’s plane touched down from Texas at the Cherry Capital Airport shortly after 10:00 p.m., delayed by a long interview with Joe Rogan.

The crowd at Avflight remained energetic despite the chilly 50-degree weather, dancing to “YMCA,” snacking, singing, and cheering until Trump arrived. “I’m not going anywhere,” declared a determined 70-something woman wrapped in a Trump blanket when told of Trump’s late arrival.

By the time the former president took the stage a little before 10:30 p.m., the main venue and overflow area was still full of fans.

Trump, however, had released a video from his plane to the crowd about being late, saying, “We’ll do an extra special job when we get there,” never considering cancelling the event.

A more in-depth article covering the key moments from the rally will be published on Monday.
