YPSILANTI, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – An Eastern Michigan University (EMU) professor is without a job after being suspended and arrested on a child predator television show.
The professor’s arrest at an undisclosed residence in Wayne County is featured in an episode of “Takedown with Chris Hansen” on TruBlu. Hansen used to host “To Catch a Predator” on NBC.

During the show, local law enforcement posed as a 15-year-old girl and communicated with the professor online. He then went to meet the girl and the arrest occurred.

In the episode, Hansen worked with the Huron Township Department of Public Safety and Genesee County Sheriff’s Human Oppression Strike Team (GHOST).
EMU released a statement, saying ‘“The actions the individual is accused of are detestable and abhorrent and stand against everything the University stands for,” the university said.

Police say the professor has been released but they expect to file charges soon.
