Detroit’s Saturday Game Start Time Moved Up Due to Weather

DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – The Detroit Tiger’s Game 5 against the Cleveland Guardians has new start time for Saturday. The first pitch will be thrown at 1:08 p.m ET.

Originally, the game had been moved from 4:08 p.m. ET to 8:08 p.m. ET in order be in a prime time slot.

However, inclement weather is forcing both teams to take the field earlier. Saturday’s game will air on TBS and Max.

Detroit will start Tarik Skubal and will look to advance to its first ALCS since 2013.
