COACHELLA VALLEY, Calif. (Michigan News Source) – Law enforcement officials announced they arrested a 49-year-old man prior before former President Donald Trump’s rally in California on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies assigned to Trump’s rally in the Coachella Valley contacted the driver of a black SUV at a checkpoint, Vern Miller of Las Vegas. They said Miller illegally possessed a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine.

Officials took Miller into custody without incident and booked him. The Riverside Sheriff’s Office said the incident did not affect the safety of Trump or the rally attendees.
