LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Former President Donald Trump isn’t letting a second attempted assassination against him keep him from campaigning, and Michigan continues to be on his agenda.

Trump will host a town hall in Flint on Tuesday night, while running mate JD Vance will make an appearance in Sparta a few hours earlier.

The latest trip to Michigan for Trump follows the arrest of a 58-year-old Florida man for attempting to assassinate Trump while he golfed in West Palm Beach on Sunday afternoon. Secret Service shot at the man but not before he got within several hundred feet of the former president with an AK-47, two backpacks, and a Gopro camera.

Vice President Kamala Harris plans to visit Michigan on Thursday, but the location has not been released. She’s hosting a “Unite for America” lifestream with Oprah.

Michigan is predicted to be a battleground state which could swing the November election.
