SAULT STE. MARIE, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Soo Locks Canal Park and Visitors Center in Sault Ste. Marie will be closed to the public all day Thursday until 4 p.m. on Friday.
Several local, state, tribal, federal and Canadian agencies will work on an exercise where a tour boat filled with tourists is taken over by an assailant in the MacArthur Lock.

The larger Poe Lock will remain open for vessel traffic.
