BAY CITY, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – One week after finding human remains in the Saginaw River, police arrested a Bay City man after searching a home.

The suspect, whose name has not been released, is accused of killing and dismembering 41-year-old Justie Stilwell. Stilwell worked as a custodian at T.L. Handy Middle School in Bay City.

Justie Stilwell’s family reported him missing on Sept. 18, the same day he did not show up to work.

Last week, a girl found a severed foot at the Edward Golson Boat Launch. Investigators later found two arms and two lower legs.

Stilwell’s family reported him missing the same day after he failed to show up for work. Stilwell’s vehicle was found across from where his the severed limbs were found. Officers identified Stilwell using fingerprints.
