LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Kroger customers in Michigan may be better off shopping in-store on Friday.

The franchise reported it is experiencing an “intermittent” issue with its app and website; that problem is preventing shoppers from being able to order groceries online or ahead of time.

This snafu comes as Kroger works to merge with Albertsons. U.S. regulators argue food prices will go up if the two companies join forces; both CEOs say it will drive down prices.
