ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Police arrested former University of Michigan football player Patrick Kugler last week in Tennessee as part of a human trafficking sting operation.

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the 29-year-old Kugler is alleged to be one of six men arrested in a sting where police placed “decoy advertisements on websites known to be linked to prostitution and commercial sex.”

Kugler faces one count of trafficking for sexual servitude and was released on a $5,000 bond.

The former offensive lineman at Michigan played for the Wolverines from 2015-17. Kugler resigned as the co-offensive coordinator at Austin Peay State University on Sunday, a day after his arrest.
