SAGINAW, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – The Saginaw Spirit are not only taking the ice, but also working to make sure kids in Michigan have the opportunity to play hockey.
The Saginaw Spirit Charitable Foundation announced applications are open for youth hockey scholarships. Eligible players must be 18-years-old and play in the Saginaw, Bay, and Midland Hockey Associations during the upcoming season.

Scholarship funds stem from the “Guardians of the Ice” player poster and stick auction held last season. September 20 is the scholarship application deadline.
