PARIS (Michigan News Source) – Team USA’s medal count is growing thanks to Michigan native Grant Fisher.
The 27-year-old Grand Blanc High School cross country and track alum finished 3rd in Friday’s 10,000 meet Track and Field event in the Paris Olympics with a time of 26:43.46, narrowly missing out on the gold.

It marks the pinnacle of a phenomenal running career. Fisher proved himself a standout at Stanford and was an All-American while running for the Cardinals.
He’s only the second American man in 56 years to win a 10,000 meter Olympic medal.
