LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Perdue Foods is voluntarily recalling more than 167,000 pounds of frozen, ready-to-eat chicken products.
The move comes after a thin strand of metal wire was found during the manufacturing process, according to a Perdue representative.

The recall includes 22-ounce bags of Perdue and Butcher Box organic chicken breast nuggets and 29-ounce bags of regular chicken breast tenders.
The products have a best-by date of March 23 and establishment number of P-33944 on the back of the package. The products were shipped to several retailers nationwide and sold online.
