LANSING, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Michigan residents with a car, minivan, SUV, motorcycle, pickup, or van can now conduct vehicle title transfers online.
The Michigan Secretary of State’s Office announced the service is only allowed if both the seller and buyer have a Michigan driver’s license or state ID.

Residents are still required to provide documentation to complete the transfer, including the title with the buyer’s signature, the seller’s signature, an odometer disclosure statement and a statement from the loan provider if needed. Proof of a valid Michigan No-Fault insurance policy is required.
