LOS ANGELES (Michigan News Source) – A 59-year-old man with ties to Michigan admitted to giving actor Matthew Perry the overdose of ketamine that killed him.
Kenneth Iwamasa, who is one of five people charged in Perry’s death, worked as Perry’s live-in personal assistant. He pleaded guilty to to conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death. Ketamine treats depression and anxiety.

According to Iwamasa’s LinkedIn profile, he earned a degree from Lansing Community College and graduated from Midland’s H.H. Dow High School in 1982.
Prosecutors said all five people charged, including two doctors, took advantage of Perry’s drug abuse issues out of greed. Perry, who rose to fame playing Chandler Bing on the hit sitcom “Friends,” was found dead in his pool in October 2023.
