MT. PLEASANT, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – Central Michigan University and the CMU Faculty Association have ratified a new five-year collective bargaining agreement earlier this week.
According to a statement from university officials, both parties held 11 formal bargaining sessions in May and June to reach the agreement.

The new contract includes annual raises over the next five years, increased contributions to faculty medical insurance, and enhanced support for parental leave and sabbatical leave. The agreement is retroactively effective from July 1 and will run through June 30, 2029.
