DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – As the Detroit Lions starting coming into town for their new season, fans are excited about what the 2024 season may bring. As the excitement grows, so does the fans wanting to see the Lions practice. All nine practice sessions that need tickets have been sold out for the general public and Lions Loyal members.

Lions Loyal Members have access on July 27 and August 2 and 12. July 29-August 1 and August 11 and 14 are open to the public but all events need tickets. Each practice will have daily giveaways, post practice autograph sessions, free face painting and balloon artists, along with photo ops at the One Pride and Grit displays. Local Detroit food trucks will also be on-site for fans to purchase food.

On Tuesday, Meijer and the Lions announced that Detroit’s headquarters and training facility have now been named the Meijer Performance Center. This will be an expanded partnership for the Michigan-based grocery retailer.

Lions President and CEO Rod Wood said, “We are excited to further our partnership with Meijer by proudly displaying their name on our team training facility. As two organizations who are rooted in Michigan, it is an honor to partner on this building, which is integral to the growth and development of our football team.”

Meijer will have branding elements around the building and on the team’s practice uniforms during the regular season. They will also be a presenting partner of the Brush Street Concourse at Ford Field and will be featured in multiple gameday elements. Meijer becomes the first grocery retailer with naming rights in the NFL.

The Lions Training Camp will take place at the Meijer Performance Center located at 222 Republic Dr. in Allen Park starting on July 27.
