SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (Michigan News Source) – A country star who was born in Michigan’s Oakland County is entering rehab after a cringeworthy singing of the national anthem at the MLB Home Run Derby on Monday night in Texas.

Ingrid Andress was born in Southfield. She revealed on social media that she was intoxicated during the performance. The 32-year-old said she checked herself into a facility to get help.

Andress made a name for herself with her single “More Hearts Than Mine” in 2019. Her father, Brad Andress, worked as a strength and conditioning coach with the Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies, New York Mets, and University of Michigan.
