DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – Trajan Langdon is putting his finger print on the 2024-25 season quickly with the 2024 NBA Draft. As soon as the draft ended, he has made two moves to bolster the roster for the new season.

After drafting Ron Holliday II on Wednesday night, Langdon has acquired the rights to Minnesota’s draft pick Bobi Klintman from Sweden. Langdon then worked a deal with Dallas to bring Tim Hardaway, Jr. to Detroit.

Klintman is the 37th overall pick who stands at 6-9 and averaged 9.7 points and 4.8 rebounds per game for the Cairns Taipans in the Australian NBL. Before Australia, Klintman went to Wake Forest during the 2022-23 season where he averaged 5.3 points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Hardaway, Jr. comes to Detroit with three future 2nd-round picks from Dallas in exchange for Quentin Grimes. Hardaway, Jr., is an 11-year veteran averaging 14.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game. This year, he was a reserve on the Mavericks as they made a run to the NBA Finals. In return, Detroit sends Grimes, who was he no. 25 pick in 2021 and acquired from New York this year, to Dallas. Grimes didn’t have much of an impact for the Pistons this year in just six games due to an injury averaging 5.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

Langdon has now added two new draft picks and a veteran to the Pistons in just three days as he reshapes Detroit’s roster.
