DETROIT (Michigan News Source) – The Detroit Zoo is celebrating the births of twin red pandas born on June 17.

The cubs were born to parents Ravi and Ginger. The twins are three-year-old Ginger’s first born cubs and so far, she is said to be an attentive mom.

For the next few months, Ginger and the cubs will remain off exhibit and the pedestrian rope bridge over the red panda exhibit will remain closed. Ravi, however, will remain viewable to visitors on the east side of the Holtzman Wildlife Foundation Red Panda Forest.
