WILMINGTON, Del. (Michigan News Source) – A Delaware jury found Hunter Biden guilty of three federal gun charges. This marks the first criminal conviction of a sitting president’s child.
The jury took three hours to come to the verdict in the conviction of President Joe Biden’s son. The three felony counts accused Hunter Biden of lying about his use of illicit drugs when obtaining a gun in 2018, and then unlawfully possessed the firearm for 11 days.

The trial spotlighted Hunter Biden’s addiction to crack cocaine when he checked “no” on a federal gun purchase form that asked whether he unlawfully used or was addicted to narcotics or other drugs.
Hunter Biden faces a maximum of 25 years in prison and $750,000 in fines. First-time offenders are rarely given the maximum penalty.
This case is not the last of Hunter Biden’s court woes. He faces separate charges in California for allegedly failing to pay $1.4 million in taxes and filing false returns. That trial could start in September.
